Cummins is the world's largest company specializing in the production of engines in the United States, founded in 1919 and headquartered in Columbus. It is a Fortune 500 company and a globally renowned brand, producing engines for generator sets with power ranging from 20KW to 2573KW. Among the companies that have invested in building factories in China are Dongfeng Cummins (joint venture with Second Automobile Works to build Dongkang), Chongqing Cummins (joint venture with Chongqing to build Zhongkang), Xi'an Cummins (joint venture with Xi'an for short Xikang), Cummins China Power, Cummins Wuxi Stanford, and Beijing Foton Cummins. Except for this, the word "Cummins" cannot be used in any engine or generator set.
